The members of the Piedmont Community located in Haymarket, Virginia created the PCF in summer of 2010. The PCF has been established with the goal of creating a positive, long-lasting impact on the charitable causes championed by its members for those whose lives they touch. The PCF acts as an advocate for identifying community needs and matching them with caring donors of money, time and talent.
The mission of the PCF is to enhance and enrich Community Programs that primarily benefit members of the Piedmont Community.
We begin by reaching out to organizations serving people who are in need of some additional support and embraced by the members of our community. Our efforts include scholarships, comfort and relief items for the military and their families, and support for those in our community who can use some assistance in a time of need. The PCF was formed as an advocacy channel to help meet these needs. Through a three-step process of evaluation, recommendation, and implementation we intend to provide the support, guidance, and resources to identify what the needs are and work collaboratively with these organizations towards filling those needs. This allows the PCF to focus on the specific activities of each organization we work with in order to create a support program based on the unique situations of the people we serve.
Together, with the help of our sponsors and community members, we will improve the lives of many by enhancing the quality and scale of aid that they receive. However, the formation of PCF is only the beginning. Without the support of the compassionate and generous individuals who are committed to this cause, the PCF would not be able to take the leap from theory to reality to fund education, research, support for our military and their families, and community programs that make a difference in our community.

PCF is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. You can make a general donation or a donation to a specific charity or program PCF supports by credit card or check.
